Boys State Update 3-11-2025
We have 3 candidates for Boys State this year. Lucas Fazio and Nicholas Greci are from Calhoun. Nicholas is the brother of Anthony Greci who attended Boys State in 2023 and he also won the Americanism Award in 2024. The other candidate is Josiah Ramirez who attends Grace Christian Academy. This is the first time we have included Grace Christian in Boys State. Mr. Schultz, the headmaster at Grace Christian is overjoyed as he is an alumnus of the Boys State program in Ohio. I have received the completed paperwork for Lucas and Nicholas and am awaiting the paperwork for Josiah. I spoke with Josiah's dad today and he promised to get back to me with the status. Once I have all the paperwork, I'll get a check from Mike Elliot and package them up for submission to Nassau County.
